After the death of company founder Friedrich Kriwan, the company assets were transferred to the Friedrich Kriwan Foundation. The foundation is dedicated to charitable tasks. KRIWAN Holding is responsible for asset management. The companies KRIWAN Industrie-Elektronik GmbH, KRIWAN Testzentrum GmbH, Birkholz Elektronische Geräte GmbH, as well as KRIWAN's foreign branches, are connected to KRIWAN Holding.

Founded by Friedrich Kriwan, the foundation takes precedence over KRIWAN Holding and the KRIWAN companies.
