Studying at KRIWAN

Cooperative study courses are the combination of a course of study with in-company vocational training. Thanks to the cooperation between KRIWAN and the Reinhold-Würth-Hochschule in Künzelsau, training and studies are completed in just under 5 years and lead to a double qualification, i.e. a degree in a state-recognised company training occupation (IHK) on the one hand and a Bachelor of Science (B. sc.) or Bachelor of Engineering (B. Eng.) university degree on the other.

The professional chances of an applicant with such a solid basic education are also excellent in the long term. Graduates will find an interesting field of activity in research and development and in technical sales.

Studying at the Cooperative State University: the alternative to university studies for committed high school graduates who have a distinct logical-analytical ability to think, are highly motivated and have a practice-oriented way of thinking. Further requirements are a general or subject-related university entrance qualification with very good grades, also in at least one foreign language.

The course of study begins in October each year with a preceding introductory internship of at least 4 weeks and lasts 3 years. The training takes place in the dual system in cooperation with the Duale Hochschule Mosbach.

Change training

The six semesters are divided into theoretical and practical training phases of twelve weeks each (dual system). The course is preceded by a three-month internship in a company.

Electrical engineering course of study

In addition to general electrical engineering, basic mathematical and scientific knowledge and working methods are taught in the basic studies. After the assistant's examination, the specialisation in automation technology is offered. Special training focuses on the conversion of physical quantities into electrical signals, signal processing and control engineering. The imparting of knowledge and process engineering of computer science plays an essential role for this field of activity. Due to the close connection between the training at the Duale Hochschule and the training companies, a compact, scientific and practice-oriented course of studies is achieved.

Industrial Engineering and Management course of studies

The Bachelor of Engineering (BA) in Industrial Engineering and Management with focus on International Technical Sales Management is able to translate scientific findings into applications of current demand. His professional competence includes basic knowledge of technical and business management processes. This enables him to solve technical and economic problems. After completing this dual course of study, he can be immediately employed in the areas of technical sales and purchasing, product management, marketing, project management, maintenance and service. Through systematic practical work experience, he also has a high degree of social and methodological competence.
