Optical level monitoring is used for non-contact single-point measurement of liquid levels, e.g. in compressors, pumps, tanks, etc. The liquid level sensor consists of two components, the screw-in part and the evaluation unit. The screw-in part for optical level detection is permanently installed at the measuring point. The electronic evaluation unit can be installed or replaced without the time-consuming process of evacuating the system and draining the oil.
The optical level monitoring devices from KRIWAN protect refrigerant compressors in particular from leaks, oil deposits in the refrigeration circuit or other faults. The range includes various device variants for monitoring the liquid level in refrigerant compressors, oil and refrigerant collectors and oil separators. These also include level switches for precise liquid level measurement.
The KRIWAN optical level monitor consists of two (three for the ADAPT Line) individual parts: The electronic evaluation part and the optical screw-in part. The screw-in part is screwed firmly to the measuring point and remains permanently in the system. The electronic evaluation unit (and the connection cable via M12 plug-in connector in the ADAPT Line) is mounted on it.
Our KRIWAN level switches are available in two versions: Measurement of the minimum and maximum fill level. The blink code indicates whether there is enough liquid - or too much - in the system. This is an optical level measurement.
If the electronics need to be replaced, this can be done without evacuating the system. The screw-in part remains screwed into the system, while the electronics can be easily removed and replaced without the need for an electrician.
