INT69 F Diagnose Motorschutzrelais Pumpe

INT69 F Diagnose BASIC

The slim KRIWAN pump protection relay BASIC for monitoring temperature and leakage. A button and an external input are available as a reset in the event of a locked shutdown of the two relays. The running detection function enables operating hours and switching cycles to be monitored in the internal memory. With this it is also possible to monitor a service interval.

Parametrization enables protection functions and response settings to be adapted flexibly to suit the application. The INT69 F Diagnose saves operating and fault data in a nonvolatile memory. This data can be read out and evaluated for diagnostic purposes. This protection relay device is used primarily for the protection of pumps and agitators.

Application Example

KRIWAN pump protection relay INT69 F Diagnose BASIC in flood control operations

In flood control operations, the efficiency of pumps is particularly crucial for maintaining the protection of communities  during extreme weather events. This holds true for organizations such as the Water and Soil Association of the Greater Havelland Main Canal - Havelland - Havelseen.

The most frequently asked questions about the
INT69 F Diagnose BASIC

Which functions does the INT69 F Diagnose offer?

The slim KRIWAN protection relay is used to monitor 2 temperature inputs (zero-voltage safe for PTC, Pt100, Pt1000 or bimetal). Further functions are a leakage input (conductance measurement), run detection, internal memory, reset button and an external reset input.

What do I need to parameterize and read out the diagnostic data?

You need an end device, such as a laptop, cell phone or tablet with the KRIWAN INTspector App installed and a KRIWAN USB or Bluetooth gateway to establish the connection between INT69 YF Diagnose and end device.

How do you recognize the current status (operating status)?

For quick and easy status indication and troubleshooting, a blink code is output via an LED on the front of the protective relay housing. This consists of a cyclic flashing sequence which can be looked up in the data sheet.
For a more detailed view, the KRWIAN INTspector App is available. The diagnostic data provides an overview of the operating behaviour of your pump. Events, operating times, switching cycles and current measured values are displayed and help with detailed analysis on site.

Which data is stored in the protection relay and for how long?

All events such as warnings, errors or messages are stored in a non-volatile internal memory and can be looked at via the INTspector App. The event memory contains the last 100 events with time and date. The last 10 events in each case are additionally recorded with extended data for all sensor inputs. There are also counters for all events.

What is the benefit of the run detection B1, B2?

The run detection enables monitoring of operating hours and switching cycles in the internal memory. Monitoring of a service interval is also possible that way.

What is the leakage input used for?

Submersible pumps and agitators, for example, are often already equipped by the manufacturer with moisture electrodes that can be monitored with the INT69 F Diagnose at E-, E+. These have the function of monitoring against penetrating medium or dry running. For this purpose, the resistance (conductance) between the two electrodes is measured. Depending on the application, the operating mode must be set to resistance exceeding or resistance falling below.

Which options are available to do a reset?

A reset button and an external reset input are available after an interlocked switch-off of the INT69 F Diagnose. The relays can be switched back on after an interlocked switch-off after a reset has been done and if there is no longer an error.

What are the functions of the relays of the INT69 F Diagnose?

The INT69 F Diagnose has two relays (changeover contacts) that can be flexibly assigned to the inputs. The only exception is the motor temperature input, which is always active with relay 1 and cannot be deactivated. For each input, the parameterization of the warning and switch-off values, a tripping delay, as well as a restart delay or also an interlocked switch-off is possible. If an error or a warning is detected, the corresponding relay switches off. The two relays operate according to the closed-circuit current principle.

How is the KRIWAN protection relay integrated into the higher-level system control?

The INT69 YF Diagnose offers an integrated Modbus RTU interface (RTU). This can be used for communication with the control system. An additional Modbus gateway (e.g. INT600 DM Gateway) is not absolutely necessary here.

What is included in the scope of delivery?

In the package is the protection relay (depending on the voltage variant AC/DC 24V or AC 100-240V) and the brief instructions.

What is the factory setting (default) of the KRIWAN protection relay?

All KRIWAN pump protection relays are delivered with a factory setting. The one for the INT69 F Diagnose can be found on the product page in the download area as a parameter list. The parameterization can be individually adapted to your application during installation and commissioning using the KRIWAN INTspector App.
