The INT185 current transformer is used for current measurement of machines and equipment (e.g. motors of pumps). It is connected to the KRIWAN protective relays that have a current transformer input. The evaluation takes place in the KRIWAN protection relays. The small dimensions facilitate installation in the control cabinet. The current transformer is available in different versions, e.g. with measuring range up to 100A or up to 250A and with stranded wires with ferrules or with screw terminals.

The current transformer is connected to the current transformer input of the KRIWAN protective relays. The evaluation takes place in the KRIWAN protective relays. The current is measured single-phase by means of the current transformer. The phase of the motor is fed through the opening of the current transformer, and the current transformer acts as a feed-through transformer. For three-phase motors, the motor is assumed to be symmetrical. The current transformers differ in measuring range, frequency converter suitability and connection type. The differences are listed in the technical data table.

There are three variants of current transformers (ring-type transformers).
02D186 with measuring range 50/60 Hz, 3-100 A, 0.3 m connection cable.
02D187 with measuring range 20-100 Hz, 5-100 A, 1.0 m connection cable.
02D188 with measuring range 20-100 Hz, 12.5-250 A, with connection terminals.
All current transformers are suitable for mounting on the 35 mm standard rail according to EN60715.
All KRIWAN current transformers have a larger transformer ratio compared to standard market solutions and are matched to KRIWAN products.
The current transformers are required for current measurement and for determining the power and cos Phi. They can be used with the KRIWAN products INT69 PYF Diagnose (02D187, 02D188) and the INT69 I2 Diagnose (02D186).
During design, a measuring range reserve for overcurrent detection of at least 20 % in relation to the rated motor current must be ensured. During installation, the L1 phase of the motor must be fed through the opening of the current transformer. For finer adjustment of the measuring range and to increase the measuring accuracy, make sure that the number of windings is correct. For details, refer to the INT69 PYF Diagnose documentation.
The packaging contains the respective current transformer (02D186, 02D187 or 02D188) and the respective brief instructions. For 02D188, the scope of delivery also includes an adapter plate for mounting in the horizontal direction and accessories such as screws, nuts and insulating caps.
