In this interview, Fabian provides insight into his exciting and diverse work at KRIWAN, as well as his personal journey from apprentice to team leader.

How long have you been working at KRIWAN, and what is your current position?
I have been part of the KRIWAN team since 2005 and have held several positions over the years. I started as a skilled worker in serial production, and after three years, I took on the role of deputy team leader in serial support, eventually becoming the team leader in that area. Since 2021, I have been working as a Facility Manager.
However, my responsibilities extend far beyond traditional facility and building management. In addition to fleet management, occupational safety, and health protection, I am also a commercial trainer, an aviation security and safety officer, and an internal auditor. For me, this profession is a combination of passion and enjoyment. I also greatly appreciate the fantastic colleagues here at KRIWAN.
What makes working at KRIWAN special in your opinion?
The special thing about KRIWAN is the family-like atmosphere. Everyone knows each other, and the strong sense of community and teamwork makes the work truly unique.
How does teamwork function at KRIWAN?
Our team is simply amazing! We work hand in hand and support each other, creating an efficient and pleasant working environment.
You started your career at KRIWAN with an apprenticeship. How does that benefit you now as a training representative?
Yes, exactly—I started my journey at KRIWAN as an apprentice. Thanks to my many years of experience, I know the company and its processes very well, which is a great advantage in my role as a training representative. I also understand the training structure from my own experience, allowing me to relate well to the apprentices. Of course, a lot has changed in the past 20 years, so I continue to learn new things every day.
From apprentice to team leader—was this a unique case at KRIWAN, or does it happen often? How did you achieve it?
This kind of development is definitely not uncommon at KRIWAN. It comes down to hard work and dedication.
