Training

Commercial and technical apprenticeships at KRIWAN are future-oriented, varied, and individual. We have traditionally placed a lot of emphasis on good training. As a technology-oriented company we always need well qualified employees in technical professions.

A special form of project work has been introduced into the new KRIWAN training concept, especially in our technical apprenticeships. Trainees and their projects are incorporated directly into the innovation process and they work actively on internal processes. This helps them to be aware of how much their own work is appreciated.

KRIWAN trainees quickly assume a role in the company which goes way beyond just learning the content of training courses. They learn to be responsible, flexible, and efficient in their work. We are very keen on promoting each person’s development. Once your training is complete you will be immediately ready to begin and you will enter your career with commitment.

Applications for trainee vacancies should be submitted at least a year before the beginning of the course, by no later than October 1, by regular or electronic mail. We will expect you to enclose your CV and your two most recent school report cards.

Industrial equipment and systems electrician

Training as an industrial equipment and systems electrician involves manufacturing, testing, and repairing equipment and subassemblies.

This includes work such as circuit board placement, making, testing, and repairing equipment and subassemblies, drawing up and utilizing technical documents, executing projects, and sometimes being involved in development.

This apprenticeship is aimed at high school graduates and, generally speaking, it is identical in content to the first two years of our electronic equipment and systems engineer apprenticeship. An industrial electrician is not so specialized as an electronics engineer, who trains for three or three and a half years; but they finish quicker and can begin work sooner.

This two-year apprenticeship is an attractive option for anyone who would prefer to enter the company on a practical-working basis. After just two years you will possess a recognized professional qualification, and you will still have the option after that to begin training as an electronic equipment and systems engineer in the second year, and complete the second qualification as well.
