280-series. At the Chillventa, KRIWAN presents the new oil level regulator
KRIWAN's new oil level regulator complements the system solutions for efficient and reliable oil management in the refrigeration circuit. The new INT275 - 278 series of level monitoring devices introduced last year has taken system engineering a large step forward. The new oil level regulator INT280 for refrigeration compressors is also based on the features introduced then.
The oil level regulator monitors regulates the oil level in the compressor crankcase. Its functional principle is both simple and sophisticated: When the oil level in the compressor falls below the specified level, the oil supply solenoid valve is activated. If a preset activation time expires without the oil reaching a sufficient level, the alarm relay drops off (closed-circuit principle). The INT280 can be used both for multi-compressor packs with several compressors in parallel and for individual compressors. Thanks to the compact design, time-consuming wiring of the solenoid valve, the optical measuring system and the electronic evaluation unit is not necessary. The precise functionality is an innovative contribution to active compressor protection.
The oil level regulator's functional principle is optical-electronical. It consists of a mechanical part with a sight glass, a solenoid valve, an screw-in optical unit, and an electronic evaluation unit. The screw-in unit has a glass prism and is installed directly into the housing. The solenoid valve has an integrated electronic control that permits oil to be injected directly into the compressor crankcase from the collector or the oil separator, depending on the system.
Key benefits at a glance:
- status indicator and alarm LEDs
- alarm contact for compressor shutdown
- quick and easy installation
- standard flange with 3 or 4 mounting bores allows the direct installation of the oil level regulator to the compressor's sight glass adapter.
- sight glass for visual oil level checks
- IP65 protection
At the Chillventa, the KRIWAN experts will be available to answer questions about this new product and the entire range of compressor protection products at booth no. 308 in hall 4.
