The sensor is used in outdoor applications wherever temperature and humidity conditions need to be measured. The measured values may be further processed in building management systems, either directly or via measurement transducers.
Both sensors are installed in one housing for protection against ambient influences (radiation, weather, etc.). The ambient temperature is measured using a Pt100 sensor. The relative humidity is recorded using a maintenance-free synthetic fibre measuring element that cganges ints length to directly actuate a sensitive wiper resistor. The winding and the wiper of the sensitive wiper resistor are made of a gold alloy wire. Minimum transmission resistance and a safe contact are ensured. Two strong axial fixtures with mast mounting clips provide the required stability to the humidity and temperature sensor.
