The temperature and humidity measuring unit is used outdoors wherever ambient conditions need to be measured quickly, almost latency-free. The measured values may be further processed in building management or DDC/BMS systems, either directly or via measurement transducers
Both the sensors are installed in one housing for protection against disturbing ambient influences (such as sun radiation, wind, rain etc.). The medium temperature is measured using a Pt1000 sensor, while the relative humidity is measured using a sensor with a synthetic hair element. The length of the maintenance-free synthetic-hair measuring element changes depending on the relative humidity, which allows the direct operation of a sensitive wiper resistor. The winding and the wiper are made of a gold wire alloy that ensures minimum transmission resistance and a secure contact. Two axial fixtures with mast mounting clips provide the required stability to the humidity and temperature sensor. Measuring medium: Gaseous, not corrosive.
