The KRIWAN WW-1 wind monitor is used as a limit value switch in combination with the INT1 or INT2 vane anemometer. Typical applications are storm protection control of ventilation flaps in greenhouses. It can also be used as a controller in combination with smoke alarm systems in building management systems.
The internal control relay opens when the set value is exceeded and the set switch-off delay has elapsed. When the value falls back below the set value and the switch-on delay has elapsed, the control relay trips again. The switching point is set to a point between 2 and 35 m/s with the internal set value potentiometer. If an external set value potentiometer is used, the bridges at the 3-4 and 6-7 terminals must be removed. The internal set value potentiometer is not used then. If a connection cable longer than 10 m is used for an external potentiometer, it must be shielded, and the shield must be grounded in the switching cabinet. The LED installed on the front panel lights up without a delay when a set value is exceeded.
