The KRIWAN wind direction measurement transducer converts a wind direction (stepped) current signal into a stepped voltage signal for further processing by greenhouse automation or building management systems or master stations. An INT3 wind direction sensor is used as the sensor. The KRIWAN wind measurement transducer is used in particular for amplifying the voltage output of a vane anemometer. Without a measurement transducer, a maximum of three INT800/810 controllers can be connected to one INT1/INT2 vane anemometer. With a measurement transducer, a maximum of fifteen INT800/810 controllers can be connected to one INT1/INT2 vane anemometer.
The KRIWAN wind measurement transducer converts the voltage signal of a vane anemometer into an output signal proportional to the wind speed. The input voltage (terminals 3 and 5) is DC 0...14 V and corresponds to a wind speed of 2...30 m/s. The signal output (terminals 6 and 7) is DC 0...14 V. The presence of a supply voltage is indicated visually.
